The Centre for Military History and Prospective Studies (CHPM) has set itself the main tasks of to research, analyse and disseminate Swiss military history in general and Switzerland in particular, as well as reflecting on the security and defence stakes of tomorrow. The Centre acts as a think tank that:

Access a specialised library and cultural events.
Receive reference materials from recognised research and symposiums.
Explore historical sites through immersive and enriching experiences.
The CHPM welcomes anyone interested in its activities, no particular conditions apply.

Anyone interested in military history and foresight can become a member of the CHPM, with no particular conditions.
You simply need to fill in the online form. Once your request has been validated, you will receive confirmation and the necessary information to finalise your membership.
No, membership is valid for one year and must be renewed manually.
You will be regularly informed by email of CHPM events, publications, and news.
Membership gives you access to conferences, specialist publications, study trips, and cultural resources and events. It also allows you to join a committed and passionate community.
The annual membership fee is CHF 60 for members and CHF 30 for students. This includes access to all activities, events, and resources offered by the CHPM.
Certain activities may be open to the public, but the majority of events and resources are reserved for members.
